Valdres Alpinsenter can offer private instruction lessons in alpine skiing and snowboarding at all levels.

Information

You book your ski school lessons online in our webshop, or in Skilåven after arrival.
In our webshop you may reserve private lessons for several days if you want to (login required).

All ski school lessons must be paid in advance and any cancelling must be done minimum 24 hours before the lesson.

If you fail to attend or cancel too late, there is no refund.

Ski equipment and skipass is not included in the price and must be ready before the lesson starts.
For other arrangements or special needs, please contact us.

Tips and advice

Ski school for children and adults are very different. We do not recommend children and adults having lessons together.
Be rested and remember to eat before the lesson.
A visit to the toilet before ski school, is always a good idea

We can’t recommend booking private lessons for children under 5 years of age, as small children may want to interrupt the lesson after a short while, and you must still pay for the entire lesson.

If two or more persons want to book a lesson together, make sure you are at the same skiing level. The person at the easiest level will always recieve the most attention.

Level 1:
You have not skied before or you have problems turning and stopping.
We concentrate on stopping, turning and riding the lift.

Level 2:
You know the basics, stopping and turning on blue slopes and riding the lift.
You want to feel more secure, more in control, increase the speed and ski with parallel skis.

Level 3:
You ski fast and in control on red slopes. You want to improve your technique to ski steeper terrain in a safer, cooler and more efficient way.
